The Word
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts.  It is perfect, powerful, and applicable to mankind today and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12

God the Father
There exists one Triune God, and infinite personal spirit, perfect in wisdom, power and love, who is fully responsible fore the creation of everything.  He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.  John 3:16, I Timothy 2:5

God the Son
Jesus Christ, the Living Word, was fully God in the flesh and fully man.  He was born of a virgin and He lived a sinless life, in which He taught and performed mighty works, wonders and signs exactly as revealed in the four Gospel accounts.  He was crucified, shed His blood and physically died to pay the penalty for our sins.  He physically rose from the dead on the third day.  He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the Father’s right hand, where He intercedes for man. Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 1:1-2, Hebrews 7:25, Luke 1:30, Ephesians 4:8, John 1:1-5, John 1:10-14, John 14:3, Colossians 2:9, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:3, Acts 1:11, Revelations 20:4

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin.  He regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ.  John 14:16-27

Man
Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam’s sin humanity fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.  All men are morally corrupt and themselves utterly unable to remedy their lost condition.  The penalty for sin is death and eternal separation from God in a literal Hell.  Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 1:18, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-3, Ephesians 2:12

Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God and is received by man through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin.  Man is justified by grace through faith, apart from works, and all true believers, once saved, are kept secure in Christ forever and live eternally in Heaven.  Ephesians 2:4-5, Ephesians 2:8-9, II Corinthians 1:21-22

Ordinances
There are two Christian ordinances instituted by Christ.  They are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and are to be observed until He comes again. Romans 6:4, I Peter 3:21, Colossians 2:12, I Corinthians 11:23-26

  • Christian Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and identifies the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • The Lord’s Supper is a regular commemoration of the Lord’s death.  The elements are symbols of His broken body and the shed blood.  Observance is a pictorial testimony of the believer’s fellowship, death, burial, and resurrection, and shall be preceded by self examination.

Satan
Satan exists as the prince and power of this world, the great deceiver who roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, and is the father of all lies, with no truth in him.  His defeat was sealed on the cross and he awaits his ultimate defeat by Jesus Christ.  John 8:44, Revelation 20:10

The Church
The church is the body of Christ and consists of believers who are saved by the grace of God.  Christ is the Head, the founder and the foundation.  The church exists to preach the good news of Jesus to all mankind, to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to disciple believers to serve Christ.  Matthew 28:18-20, I Corinthians 3:11

The Second Coming
Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to earth and establish His kingdom.  There will be a resurrection of the body for final judgment, to the eternal joy of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked.  Revelation 22:12, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Luke 16:22-25
